Our T&C's
Terms and Conditions for Booking an Appointment

By booking an appointment at Nailsea Physio Ltd, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline the process, responsibilities, and expectations for both the clinic and the patient regarding appointments, treatment, and cancellations. Please read them carefully.

1. Appointment Booking
1.1 Booking Methods
Appointments can be booked via our website, over the phone, or in person at our clinic. By confirming your appointment, you acknowledge that you have provided accurate information regarding your health, contact details, and preferred treatment times.

1.2 Confirmation of Appointment
Once an appointment is successfully booked, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS. It is your responsibility to ensure that the appointment details (date, time, location) are correct. If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us to verify your booking.

2. Fees and Payment
2.1 Fees
Fees for physiotherapy services will vary based on the treatment type and duration. A fee schedule will be provided at the time of booking, and payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment can be made by cash, credit card, or other accepted payment methods.
2.2 Insurance
If you are using insurance for payment, it is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance details are provided accurately. The clinic will assist with necessary documentation but cannot guarantee that your insurer will cover all costs. Any outstanding balance after insurance payment is your responsibility. We do not work directly with BUPA or AXA, but can provide receipts for you to make a reimbursement request to them if you wish.

3. Cancellations and No-Shows
3.1 Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a cancellation fee, which may vary depending on the length of the appointment. The fee will be charged to your account or added to your next appointment.

3.2 No-Show Policy
Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice (no-show) will result in a charge equal to the full cost of the session. Repeated no-shows may result in a requirement for prepayment for future bookings.

3.3 Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid delays for other patients. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled, and a late-cancellation fee may apply.

4. Patient Responsibilities
4.1 Health Information
You are required to provide accurate and complete information regarding your medical history, current health condition, and any injuries. Failure to provide full information may affect the quality of your treatment. Please update us promptly with any changes to your health status or contact details.

4.2 Compliance with Treatment Plan
It is important to follow the physiotherapy plan and recommendations provided by your physiotherapist to achieve the best possible results. If you have any concerns about the treatment or your progress, please communicate them with your physiotherapist.

4.3 Personal Items
You are responsible for your personal belongings during your visit. The clinic is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

5. Clinic's Rights and Responsibilities
5.1 Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if you fail to provide accurate health information, miss multiple appointments, or do not comply with clinic policies. We also reserve the right to refuse service if a patient is disruptive, abusive, or shows unsafe behavior.

5.2 Treatment Outcomes
While physiotherapy can help manage and alleviate certain conditions, treatment outcomes are not guaranteed. Your physiotherapist will work with you to develop an appropriate plan, but success depends on individual factors such as your condition, compliance, and response to treatment.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection (see also our privacy statement below)

We respect your privacy and handle your personal and health information with the utmost care. All patient data is stored securely, and we comply with relevant privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Please review our [Privacy Policy] for more information on how we protect your data.

By booking an appointment, you give your consent to undergo the physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Your consent will be sought for any additional procedures or treatments that may be recommended during your sessions.

7.1 Personal Injury
You agree to release Nailsea Physio Ltd and its staff from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during your visit, unless caused by negligence or misconduct by the clinic or its employees.
